- Work closely with marketing to define target audiences, develop campaigns and messaging, and convert marketing-generated demand into sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate prospect, opportunity, activity, pipeline, and forecast information in Salesforce or the designated CRM.
- Use client, campaign, market, and pipeline data to inform targeting, forecasting, cross-sell, and account-growth strategies.
- Partner with internal teams to onboard new clients and help clients understand relevant products, services, data capabilities, and marketing applications.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, meetings, and events to develop relationships and generate opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, analytics, finance, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, full-cycle or consultative sales, marketing, or client growth.
- Demonstrated experience using data and analytics to identify opportunities, prioritize audiences, or inform sales and marketing decisions.
- Understanding of data-driven marketing concepts, including segmentation, targeting, campaign development, lead generation, and performance measurement.
- Ability to translate complex data, analytics, or marketing concepts into clear business value for prospective and existing clients.
- Strong relationship-building, presentation, written communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and using a CRM; Salesforce preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across sales, marketing, analytics, and client-service teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry conferences, and business-development activities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling solutions that combine data, analytics, marketing, technology, or professional services.
- Experience in financial services, retail or multi-location businesses, franchise organizations, or marketing agencies.
- Experience growing existing accounts through renewals, cross-sell, and upsell strategies.
