The position works closely with internal business partners and actively monitors product performance through ongoing analysis, reporting, and profitability tracking.

- Support actuarial analyses for assigned lines (e.g., workers’ compensation and/or commercial auto), including data preparation, basic rate level indication support, trend summaries, and segmentation studies.
- Support rate and regulatory filings by assembling exhibits, summaries, and supporting documentation; ensure results tie out and are review-ready
- Use actuarial techniques and available tools (e.g., Excel, data extraction/query tools, internal systems) to extract, validate, manipulate, and analyze data, with hands-on support and review
- Complete assigned tasks accurately within established timelines; communicate questions, issues, or delays early
- Maintain clear documentation and workpapers so another analyst can understand, recreate, and review the work product
- Perform peer review of other assistant/analyst work as assigned, focusing on basic checks (reasonableness, tie-outs, completeness, and documentation)
- Participate actively in team and department meetings by asking questions, sharing observations, and providing status updates as needed
- Pursue ongoing professional development through consistent progress toward actuarial exams
