## What you’ll do:
"The primary responsibility of this role is to study, analyze the spend data to identify cost out opportunities and create strategies forfor Electrical Products category cost-out project execution.
Understanding the Process and Manufacturing requirements for Electrical components, Products and Assembly to meet customer specific technical requirements and implementing those for idea generation.
Creating cost out (VA) projects and execution strategies in Electrical Products/components Manufacturing and assembly"
"1. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify, develop and implement cost out projects related to Electrical products like Transformers, Magntic coils, Electrical Wires, and connectivity terminals, connectors, Automotive products, battery systems, UPS etc as a part of Direct Material Productivity (DMP) team.
2\. Capable of building component startegies to generate and drive cost outs by Resourcing and VAVE by close collaboration with Global procurement & Product divisions and supply chain team.
3\. Technical expert in electrical materials, manufacturing process as per component design and certification standards to deliver a robust pipeline of projects (in various areas like VAVE, resiliency, resourcing and negotiations)
4\. Shuld be with high analytical skills to utilse market benchmarking, compititor analysis to creat high impact business proposals and able to influence business decisions or approcah.
5\. Should be capable to support NPI project where new developments or design alteration is required
6\. Strong experience of Supplier handling, managing communications and technical query assistance for new component development projects
7\. In depth knowldge of IEC/UL/IS standards for electrical components along with manufacturing process and life duty cycle.
8\. Ability to guide junior members to have systematic approach or guidelines for smooth execution of projects
9\. Should have experience of DFSS/DMIAC tools, SAP, PPAP and DFMEA on various components."
## Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics (with cost out experience)
"1. Total relevant work experience: 5 to 8 years.
## Skills:
2.Experience on Electrical Components, Wires, electronic systems, Automotive products, EV, HEV battery systems, UPS, terminals, connectors etc and awareness of supplier qualifications for technical aspects.
3\. Should be capable of applying the electrical design basics, product concepts for new cost out opportunities
4\. Must be experienced with product processes, testing and validation activities
5\. Independent and confident driver for Cost out, Resiliency and VAVE projects execution by creating big business proposals.
6\. Should have knowledge of different materials, end product application and tools associated with those.
7\. Should be able to redesign or alternate design as per specific customer requirements
8\. Sound knowledge of application standards IEC/UL of variety of electrical products
9\. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
10\. Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills."
