Description
You will be responsible for:
- Partner with Consumer PBU leadership to drive financial performance, strengthen business decision-making and translate business priorities into clear financial outcomes.
- Provide strategic financial insights through profitability analysis, scenario modelling, business case evaluation and identification of key financial drivers, risks and opportunities.
- Lead demand and financial performance analysis, including volume and mix assessment, Actual vs. Projection variance analysis, and identification of actions to improve business performance.
- Own the EBIT bridge and performance narrative against Previous Estimate (PE), Previous Year (PY) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP), providing clear insights into the impact of volume, mix, pricing, cost and productivity.
- Lead forecasting and planning activities in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring robust business assumptions, timely submissions and high-quality financial forecasts in TM1.
- Drive the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and periodic projection process, challenging assumptions, assessing business risks and opportunities, and ensuring alignment with overall financial objectives.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and financial performance and proactively recommend corrective actions to close performance gaps and achieve business targets.
- Lead the development of business dashboards, MIS and performance scorecards, ensuring leadership has timely, relevant and actionable financial and operational insights.
- Drive preparation of Monthly Operating Review (MOR), forecast review and AOP decks, translating complex financial information into clear business narratives and recommendations for leadership discussions.
- Lead channel-wise Consumer Replacement profitability analysis across products, customers and channels, identifying opportunities to improve commercial effectiveness and overall business profitability.
- Drive gross margin analysis and provide strategic insights into key profitability drivers, including pricing, volume, mix and cost movements.
- Influence pricing, customer and product portfolio decisions by providing data-driven financial recommendations and evaluating their potential impact on business profitability.
- Partner with commercial and cross-functional teams in key business discussions, including S&OP, demand planning, pricing reviews and other strategic initiatives, ensuring financial considerations are embedded in decision-making.
- Lead financial evaluation of mold investments, capital expenditure proposals and new business projects, ensuring robust financial assessment before investment decisions are made.
- Develop and evaluate business cases covering ROI, payback, profitability and financial viability for strategic initiatives and investments.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Commercial and other stakeholders to assess project feasibility, financial implications and expected business value.
- Track benefits realization of key investments and projects, providing financial governance and ensuring expected returns are delivered.
- Drive reporting automation, process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives across Finance and business processes to enhance efficiency, data quality and decision-making effectiveness.
- Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to Consumer PBU stakeholders, constructively challenging business assumptions and influencing decisions through strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Bring an enterprise mindset to complex business situations, balancing short-term financial performance with long-term business growth and profitability.
What you will bring:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10–12 years of relevant experience in Business Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering.
- Strong experience in business partnering, financial planning & analysis, P&L management and variance analysis, with manufacturing experience being an advantage.
- Strong understanding of commercial, sales and marketing operations, manufacturing, supply chain and procurement.
- Demonstrated ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and develop well-reasoned solutions.
- Strong understanding of financial systems and ERP environments, with SAP experience preferred; proficiency in MS Office and planning/consolidation tools such as Essbase, Hyperion or similar applications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo, drive process improvements and influence business outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and effective relationships across Finance and business functions.
