Sr Trade Compliance Analyst

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Sr Trade Compliance Analyst.

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

## What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Ensure the effective Maquila Program management, avoiding Customs and Fiscal risks for Eaton, including material, information and technology.

Responsible for maintaining and updating compliance documents to reflect current regulatory requirements and procedures to monitor all the obligations to maintain certifications such CIVA, AEO, etc., as well reporting metrics or KPIs of their operation in charge.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A. Responsible for the temporary inventory management of Eaton & Eaton Cummins.

B. KPIs & Monthly reports

C. Temporary inventory conciliations a month.

D. Ensure the data integrity of trade compliance process.

E. Responsible for ensuring the full compliance with New Customs Regulations, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Classifications USA/ Mexico, Free trade agreements, etc.

F. Monitor the import/export of raw materials, finished goods, equipment, scrap, non-productive material, excess and obsolete (E&O) operation on a monthly basis.

G. Perform audits to the annex 24 (Interfaces, Operation’s Report, I/E Modules, BOM’s, Product Values & Costs, Country of Origin, USMCA Certificates or Manufacturer Affidavit, Duty Payments, Eight Rule, Prosec’s) and maintain this info updated in the system.

H. Inventory reconciliation between Annex 24 and ERP: cycle counts, receiving discrepancies, inventory adjustments, company losses, perpetual inventories, company sales.

I. Provide all documents or information to attend Customs audits from SAT as well as internal customs audits from Eaton Internal Audit team or Peer Reviews Audits.

J. Analyze issues – identify relevant issues and all the impacts or problems related using accurate logic in analyses.

K. Manage Execution – Identify responsibilities; delegates and powers others, removes obstacles; allows for and contributes needed resources.

L. Continuous improvement.- identify gaps in the processes and coordinates work efforts when necessary to make happen a relevant improvement. Projects execution.

M. Control customs duties avoidance.

N. Ensure compliance with Mexican Customs, Mexican Governmental Agencies and Foreign Laws.

O. Inspection at Origin. Customs assignation to Inputs and differences.

P. Maquila IVA certifications supports.

Q. Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area

R. Promotes the company’s mission by actively supporting Eaton’s safety and values as well as quality policies.

S. Provide accurate information to GTM VAT team related to the VAT certification including:

T. Assistance to fix deviations on the temporary inventory

U. Annual IMMEX, PROSEC reports.

V. Provide data and assure the INEGI monthly and annual reports submission

W. Annual Tax-Fiscal report (DIOT, DIEMSE)

X. Sub-manufacturer report

Y. Cost-Submission Annual Report

Z. GTM Mexico monthly report

## Qualifications:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

A. Degree qualification in foreign trade or related discipline

B. 3- 5 years in a Foreign Trade-leadership role.

C. Senior expertise knowledge in operations (import-export)

D. Leadership

E. Possess Effective Communication Skills

F. Working Knowledge of MRP / ERP system as a plus

G. Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel audit formulas).

H. USMCA, C-TPAT, Economic Authorized Operator

I. Mexican programs to reduce duties as PROSEC, Rule 8va

J. Experience with Customs procedures and compliance

K. US Customs regulations.

a. Management of Two Maquila Inventory (Annex 24 & Annex 30 reports), for Eaton and Eaton Cummins

b. Ensure the correct process operation for three Trading companies: Eaton Trading, EMSA & Eaton Cummins.

c. Inventory Value per month of 40 MUSD

d. 4800 Import & Export Pedimentos per year

e. Maintain the VAT Certification avoiding VAT payment for 70 MUSD per year

f. Management of benefits Rule 8, PROSEC, USMCA.

g. Electronic Recordkeeping of 60 K documents per year.
