What this job involves: 

The Product Management Lead - Residential Technologies will lead the residential product management team and the residential technology portfolio across strategy, execution and performance of the tech stack. The portfolio spans three CRM platforms, seven market websites across Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, and multiple property portal integrations across all markets. This role shapes a unified strategy and roadmap where multiple markets pull in different directions, each with a set of requirements and priorities. 

Succeeding in this role will demand a blend of people leadership, product acumen, technical credibility and stakeholder judgement. It delivers on business priorities by setting the direction of multiple teams working across time zones, holding delivery to committed schedules, and representing residential technology to senior leadership and across the business. 

What your day-to-day will look like: 

Product Strategy and Delivery: 

• Manage end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering through to launch, working closely with engineering, design, marketing and sales – for all Residential Tech products. 

• Gather market, competitor and user insight to inform where the portfolio develops. 

• Contribute to shaping product strategy with residential business goals, collaborating with senior leadership to resolve strategic issues. 

• Identify where AI can strengthen the residential portfolio and bring forward opportunities that would improve how the business works. 

Team Leadership: 

• Lead a team of product managers and specialists across CRMs and websites in all residential markets. 

• Set clear objectives and expectations, and conduct formal performance and development reviews. 

• Take responsibility for the team’s delivery outcomes, stepping in where schedules or quality are at risk. 

• Encourage and enable the team to use AI tooling in their day-to-day work, raising the pace and quality of delivery. 

• Contribute to the wider planning of staffing and resources across Residential Technology. 

Stakeholder Collaboration: 

• Build strong stakeholder relationships by communicating priorities, gathering input, managing expectations and escalating risks appropriately. 

• Chair business leadership meetings and recurring product, engineering and marketing forums. 

• Engage users, marketing teams and delivery partners to gather insight and feed it into the roadmap. 

• Support senior leadership in aligning competing priorities across business lines. 

Operations, Performance and Governance: 

• Hold engineering teams and delivery partners to agreed commitments, drawing on working knowledge of the CRM platforms, web stack and the data flows between them. 

• Define and track key performance indicators, presenting product and delivery performance to senior leadership and supporting executive-level alignment on outcomes. 

• Identify and resolve operational and delivery problems, exercising judgement within JLL’s defined procedures and drawing on senior input for the most complex. 

• Maintain and monitor the residential technology budget, tracking spend against plan and flagging variances. 

Required Skills and Experience: 

• 7+ years in technology product roles serving the residential sector, including direct product management ownership of a backlog and delivery with an engineering team. 

• Substantive working knowledge of CRM platforms, including Salesforce. 

• Operational knowledge of related work groups, including engineering, marketing and data. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences. 

• Ability to think strategically while managing the detail of product delivery. 

• Organised and reliable on follow-through across parallel workstreams in multiple markets. 

• Strong judgement when balancing user needs, business priorities and technical constraints. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills: 

• Previous professional experience in the real estate sector, especially residential. 

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tooling. 

• Familiarity with web content management and search platforms. 

• Experience applying AI tooling to product delivery or business workflows. 

• Experience working in a large global organisation with geographically dispersed teams. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
