Position: General Sales Manager
Salary: $1,000 - $1800
Reporting Line: Managing Director / CEO

Summary:

The General Sales Manager is responsible for leading the overall sales strategy, business development, and revenue growth for the company's premium wooden products and interior decoration solutions. This role oversees showroom sales, project sales, dealer/distributor sales, and key account management while ensuring the achievement of sales targets, market expansion, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Job Responsivities:

• Develop and execute annual sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Drive sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
• Expand market share across residential, commercial, and corporate projects.
• Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and strategic partnerships.
• Establish sales budget, annual sales budget, revenue forecasts and growth plan.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the sales management team and sales representatives.
• Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales KPIs.
• Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when required.
• Conduct regular sales meetings, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations
• Develop relationships with: property developers, Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors, Consultants, Hotel Operations, Corporate Clients
• Manage major project negotiations from specification through project completion.
• Support the team in securing high-value contracts and long-term agreements.
• Maintain strategic relationship with key customers
• Increase repeat business through excellent customer relationship management
• Ensure visual merchandising reflects premium brand positioning.
• Improve showroom conversion rates and average sales value
• Identify emerging trends in premium wood products and interior decoration
• Explore new product categories and market opportunities
• Manage pricing strategy and profit margins
• Coordinate product availability and delivery schedules
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
• Recommend pricing, product, and sales strategy improvements.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports
• Review sales pipeline and forecast accuracy
• Present business performance and strategic recommendations to executive management
• Ensure client data is accurate and up to date.

Main Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field, MBA is an advantage.
• Minimum 5–10 years of sales experience.
• Experience in premium wooden products, building materials, interior finishing, furniture, construction materials, or related industries.
• Proven experience managing nationwide sales operations.
• Strong B2B and project sales experience.
• Strategic Leadership, Team Management, Coaching & Mentoring, Performance Management, Decision Making
