Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a recruitment professional with a strong track record of delivering end-to-end talent acquisition solutions across multiple business areas and levels of seniority. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting, engaging, and hiring high-calibre talent, partnering closely with hiring managers and business leaders to support the firm's strategic growth objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent stakeholder management skills, a consultative approach to recruitment, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple hiring campaigns simultaneously within a fast-paced professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for positions across the firm, from Trainee and Graduate level through to Director appointments.
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring requirements, workforce planning needs, and talent acquisition priorities.
- Develop and refine job specifications, recruitment campaigns, and sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Source, screen, assess, and manage candidate pipelines through a variety of direct sourcing and advertising channels.
- Coordinate and manage interview processes, providing guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the selection process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on recruitment best practice and market insights.
- Prepare employment offers and lead candidate negotiations to ensure successful hiring outcomes.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and external suppliers, ensuring an effective and efficient recruitment service.
- Coordinate the engagement and management of overseas contractors and international hires where required.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, candidate data, and reporting through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support employer branding, talent attraction initiatives, careers events, and networking opportunities to enhance BDO Ireland's market presence.
- Contribute to HR and Talent Acquisition projects and undertake other ad hoc duties as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, HR, or a related field.
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple levels and functions.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and high-volume recruitment activity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Commercially minded with the ability to influence hiring decisions through market insight and data.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
