Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Worker to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in our warehouse and on job sites, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment
• Operate machinery and equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks in the warehouse and on job sites
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Help with the assembly, packaging, and labeling of products
• Maintain inventory and keep track of stock levels
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable and punctual
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks

Contract Details:

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Cape Town, South Africa. The working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend work required. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.
