Msuez Uk is a leading industrial services company operating in Johannesburg, South Africa. We are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable General Worker to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As a General Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support our operations. This may include but is not limited to, cleaning and maintaining the work area, assisting with loading and unloading materials, and operating basic machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain the work area, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris
- Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks and other vehicles
- Operate basic machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, under supervision
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
- Assist with general maintenance tasks, such as painting and minor repairs
- Follow instructions from supervisors and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Basic knowledge of operating machinery
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
