Description of Work

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

The Office of the Governor of North Carolina is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented interns to support the work of the Operations team. Interns will aid with all operations tasks, including monitoring the scheduling portal, coordinating travel plans, collecting and compiling briefing memos, assisting with all correspondence, and staffing events.  This internship is unpaid with a one-time stipend.  

 

Internship Details:

Location:              Raleigh, NC (hybrid)

Schedule:            15 weeks (10 hours/week)

Term Dates:          August 17, 2026 – December 4, 2026

Compensation:     Internship offers a competitive one-time stipend of $560.00.

• Excellent Administrative writing skills 
• Professionalism, confidentiality, and organization 
• Excellent Communication Skills  
• Microsoft Office skills
