The Office of the Governor of North Carolina is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented interns to support the work of the Boards and Commissions team. Interns will aid with a variety of tasks including drafting letters, oaths, and certificates for newly appointed members and filing signed oaths, notices of appointment, and board checklists. This internship is unpaid with a one-time stipend. This posting is recruiting for two intern positions.
Internship Details:
Location: Raleigh, NC (hybrid)
Schedule: 15 weeks (minimum of 10 hours/week)
Term Dates: August 17, 2026 – December 4, 2026
Compensation: Internship offers a competitive one-time stipend of $560.00.
Key roles duties:
- Currently Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate course of study
- Demonstrated interest in North Carolina news and current events
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess strong administrative skills and a high level of attention for detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
