About Our Program

You’ll be joining in a JD Star (JDS) Graduate Role, a semi-structured early-career pathway designed to accelerate young professionals whilst making an impact in your role at JD.com. Over your first year, you’ll take on meaningful projects, build technical and leadership skills, and gain exposure to the world-class functions driving JD’s global growth.

Job Summary:**

JD.com, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Process Optimization specialist to identify, analyze, and improve existing business processes across various departments. This role will focus on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall operational performance to support JD.com's rapid growth and complex logistics and e-commerce operations.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes, including data collection, flowcharting, and identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
* Develop and implement innovative solutions and process improvements using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant frameworks.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, technology, product, and finance, to gather requirements, design new processes, and ensure successful implementation.
* Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented process changes and continuously monitor their impact.
* Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation outlining process improvements, analysis findings, and recommendations for stakeholders.
* Train and support staff on new processes and tools to ensure smooth adoption and compliance.
* Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in process optimization and apply them to JD.com's environment.
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in process optimization, business analysis, or a similar role, preferably within a large-scale e-commerce, logistics, or technology company.
* Proven experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN). Certification is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R) and process modeling software.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage.
