Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by identifying and qualifying leads, building long-term client relationships, and expanding the personal client base through networking, referrals, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to understand clients’ individual and household coverage requirements and recommend customized personal lines coverage solutions.
- Negotiate with personal lines underwriters to secure favorable policy terms, conditions, and pricing across home, auto, umbrella, and ancillary coverages.
- Present personal insurance products to clients, educating them on coverage options, risk considerations, and policy details, and closing deals that align with their needs and financial goals.
- Track and analyze sales performance and client satisfaction using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as new business written, retention rates, and referral generation.
- Maintain ongoing client relationships, address policy inquiries, provide guidance during claims, and conduct periodic coverage reviews to ensure long-term retention.
- Collaborate with the Personal Lines service team, carriers, and claims resources to ensure accurate and timely policy processing in compliance with industry standards.
- Stay informed on personal lines industry trends, regulatory updates, and carrier product offerings to provide expert-level advisory services.
- Take ownership of a personal lines book of business, coordinating efforts with internal teams and external partners to retain clients and develop new business opportunities.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Business, Communications, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Property & Casualty License required.
