Senior Software Engineer - ServiceNow Development

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• SACM & CMDB Data Quality
• Troubleshoot Failures: Diagnose errors related to credentials, network access permissions, or discovery log errors.
• Drive CMDB health initiatives including completeness, correctness, compliance, and relationship accuracy.
• Implement solutions to remediate stale CIs, duplicate records, orphaned relationships, and data quality gaps.
• Design scalable automation for CMDB governance and configuration management processes.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams to improve configuration data quality.
• ServiceNow Discovery & CMDB Engineering
• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow Discovery solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Build Third-Party Integrations: Connect ServiceNow with external data sources like Microsoft Azure, AWS, SCCM, and SolarWinds using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and web services.
• Manage Discovery Schedules: Create, update, and manage horizontal, cloud, and serverless discovery schedules.
• Build Custom Patterns: Develop customized discovery probes, sensors, and patterns to capture niche hardware, software, and application dependencies.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Discovery and/or ITOM.
• Work Location - Bangalore / Hyderabad

Job Expectations:
