Description
## The group you’ll be a part of
In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry.
## The impact you’ll make
At Lam Research, the Deposition Product Group is driving the next generation of 3D device scaling and advanced semiconductor manufacturing. As the Product Operations & Lifecycle Manager for Sabre 3D, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution, sustainment, and evolution of one of Lam's most strategic deposition product platforms.
This highly visible role serves as the operational leader of the Sabre 3D product line, partnering across Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Service, and Commercial organizations to drive product changes, release readiness, upgrades, lifecycle transitions, and configuration governance. You will transform product decisions into operational execution, ensuring that new capabilities are delivered efficiently, risks are managed proactively, and customers receive high-quality solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
While Product Managers define the strategy, roadmap, and market priorities, the Product Operations & Lifecycle Manager ensures the organization executes flawlessly against those priorities. Success in this role requires strong technical acumen, exceptional cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive alignment across a complex global organization without direct authority.
## What you’ll do

Responsibilities include:
- Lead governance and approval processes for:
- Non-Standard Requests (NSRs)
- Change Requests (CRs)
- Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
- Product Change Notifications (PCNs)
- Installation Support Requests (ISRs)
- Facilitate cross-functional reviews and stakeholder alignment.
- Ensure all technical, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, service, and commercial readiness requirements are completed prior to implementation.
- Partner with Product Engineering and Technical Program Managers to monitor implementation progress and drive issue resolution.
- Proactively identify and mitigate execution risks that could impact customers, schedules, cost, or product quality.
Drive Product Configuration & Release Excellence
Ensure configuration integrity, release readiness, and scalable product management processes across the Sabre 3D product family.
Responsibilities include:
- Govern product configurations, options, upgrades, and platform variants.
- Coordinate implementation of new features, capabilities, and customer-specific solutions.
- Partner with Product Managers on cut-in strategies, implementation timing, and deployment planning.
- Identify and resolve configuration conflicts, obsolescence risks, and product complexity challenges.
- Lead cross-functional release readiness reviews and launch execution activities.
- Ensure alignment between engineering releases, manufacturing capability, service readiness, and customer commitments.
Own Lifecycle Execution & Product Sustainment
Lead lifecycle execution from product introduction through end-of-life while maximizing customer value and business performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct regular product lifecycle reviews for the Sabre 3D portfolio.
- Develop and execute plans for:
- End-of-Life (EOL)
- End-of-Manufacturing (EOM)
- Product transitions
- Obsolescence management
- Upgrade proliferation
- Build-forward implementation strategies
- Coordinate implementation activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Service, and Operations teams.
- Balance customer commitments, operational constraints, and business objectives throughout lifecycle transitions.
- Support long-term product health, maintainability, and operational scalability.
## Who we’re looking for
- ### Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Operations, Business, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment, product management, program management, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, or related technical disciplines.
