The OpportunityAs a Data Intern, you will engage in supporting teams and participating in projects within our Assurance practice. This role offers you the chance to gain exposure to PwC's methodologies, focusing on learning and contributing to the success of our client support initiatives. You will be involved in tasks that enhance your understanding of business transformation digital solutions, particularly in audit and assurance contexts.
As an Intern, you will support teams by observing and learning from experienced professionals, participating in projects, and performing basic tasks and research. This role emphasizes the importance of adopting a learning mindset and taking ownership of your development. Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in delivering technology-enabled solutions focused on trust and transparency
- Participating in projects related to ERP security, IT general controls, and ESG reporting
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain confidence in financial reporting and decision-making
- Conducting basic tasks and research to uphold transparency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Applying a learning mindset to develop personal skills and contribute to team success
- Gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns
- Assisting in the evaluation and assessment of internal control systems to mitigate risks and promote operational efficiency
- Engaging in business process improvement initiatives to optimize performance and enhance user experience
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology, Business Administration/Management, Computer Programming
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for a 3.5 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
