Key Account Manager, Oncology
About the Company
Our client is a well-established multinational pharmaceutical company with a strong presence in specialty care and oncology. Due to business expansion, they are seeking a high-caliber Key Account Manager to support their oncology portfolio and drive strategic account engagement.
Position Summary
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing account strategies across key oncology centers, hospitals, and healthcare institutions. The successful candidate will build long-term partnerships with key stakeholders and drive sustainable business growth within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic account plans for designated oncology accounts.
- Build strong relationships with oncologists, hematologists, pharmacists, nurses, and hospital decision-makers.
- Identify account opportunities and develop tailored solutions to address customer needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
- Analyze account performance, market trends, and competitor activities to formulate effective action plans.
- Drive product utilization and achieve sales objectives through value-based customer engagement.
- Lead territory planning and account review processes.
- Ensure activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Support local congresses, educational programs, and scientific meetings where appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Business, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in oncology, hematology, specialty care, or key account management preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing major hospital accounts and complex stakeholder networks.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.

- Oncology product launch experience.
- Experience handling public and private healthcare sectors.
- Exposure to cancer centers, HA clusters, and key oncology institutions.
