ABOUT THE ROLE
We're on the hunt for an innovative Content Producer to join the Big Bash content team and help engage fans across the country through our suite of digital products and social media channels.

Reporting to the Content & Production Lead - Big Bash Leagues, you'll play a key role in producing, publishing and promoting compelling content across Big Bash digital products and social media platforms. Your work will help drive interest, deepen engagement and strengthen the connection between casual viewers and avid fans of Australian cricket's most exciting entertainment product.
You'll be responsible for:
Producing innovative and engaging video content, static graphics and written copy across Big Bash-owned channels, social media platforms and digital products to attract, engage and retain fans.
Supporting the management of Big Bash social media accounts (BBL and WBBL) and digital platforms, helping execute Cricket Australia's digital content strategy from ideation through to publishing.
Maintaining consistent vertical video output on the Big Bash app using our video management system, including live match coverage, bespoke content and amplification of key moments to drive engagement.
Creating and publishing digital content across Big Bash social channels, cricket.com.au and the Big Bash app, ensuring timely, accurate and high-quality delivery.
Working closely with the Content & Production Lead – Big Bash Leagues to align content plans, tone of voice and platform objectives across social and owned channels.
Executing commercial content in line with brand objectives, sponsor requirements and platform best practice, while collaborating with internal stakeholders and Big Bash clubs to maximise audience engagement.
Maintaining a detailed knowledge of cricket competitions and upholding high standards of quality, accuracy and editorial integrity across all content.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
2+ years' experience working in a digital content, communications and/or social media environment, with experience managing social media accounts and using content management systems.
Proven ability to identify and react quickly to content opportunities, capturing, creating and publishing high-quality content in a fast-paced environment, ideally within sport.
Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro, with strong digital content production skills across multiple formats.
Strong awareness of emerging digital platforms, audience behaviours and evolving social media trends.
Excellent written communication skills, including outstanding attention to detail, strong spelling and grammar, copy editing experience, and the ability to craft engaging headlines, captions and social copy.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Deep understanding of, and genuine passion for cricket.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, and willingness to travel as required.
Providing previous video, design or social content work will be looked upon favourably.
