Overview
Ireland Business within Growth Markets have an opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner and responsible for the financial management of the Ireland business.
Your role
- Prepare monthly management accounts in accordance with the internal policies and procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with internal controls as well as external regulatory compliance, including VAT and lead contact for the statutory audit, for the legal entity.
- Conduct monthly reviews of major project finances, scrutinising and challenging the accuracy and reliability to ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards and to reduce financial risk.
- Preparation of Budgets/Forecasts and long term plans.
- Overhead control relating to the region.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement following the implementation of ERP Oracle to maximise efficiency and enhance reporting for decision making capabilities to ensure focus on achieving results.
- Oversee cashflow forecasting to maintain adequate liquidity for both operational and strategic activities.
- Provide financial analysis of business performance against budgets/forecasts/KPI’s and insights to support decision-making to drive improved performance and growth.
- Partner with cross functional teams, tax, treasury, commercial, cosec to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
About you
- A qualified accountant with several years’ experience (ACCA, CMA, or equivalent).
- Strong academic record.
- ERP Oracle experience is a requirement.
- Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills and exposure to Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
- Demonstrable growth mindset, strong record of collaboration.
- Curious about business and its drivers.
- The role will require travel to Ireland.

- Broad understanding of tax and compliance matters relevant to the geography.

- Experience in accounting or financial management roles.
- Good, analytical decision-making and problem solving skills as well as ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and work under pressure.
