Position Summary

Oyster Harbors Marine is seeking a highly organized, creative, and energetic Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of marketing initiatives across our locations, premium boat brands, sales organization, and customer events.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with sales and management, and ensure the details are handled. The Marketing Coordinator will help maintain a consistent, professional brand presence across digital channels, boat shows, events, inventory listings, advertising, and customer communications.

The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, comfortable with technology, and willing to jump in wherever needed to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Content

• Coordinate social media content across Oyster Harbors Marine platforms.
• Create and schedule engaging content featuring new boats, brokerage inventory, deliveries, events, employees, and customer experiences.
• Coordinate photography and video for new and used inventory.
• Maintain a consistent OHM brand image and voice across digital channels.
• Assist with email marketing campaigns, newsletters, customer communications, and promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate website updates and ensure information remains current and accurate.
• Monitor basic digital marketing performance and provide regular reporting on results.

Inventory & Sales Support

• Work closely with the sales team to ensure new and brokerage inventory is marketed accurately and professionally.
• Confirm inventory has current photography, video, descriptions, specifications, pricing, and location information.
• Support inventory promotions and aged-inventory campaigns.
• Assist brokers with marketing materials, digital assets, customer communications, and sales campaigns.
• Coordinate marketing materials for new model introductions and manufacturer promotions.
• Support the continued rollout and use of OHM's technology platforms, including inventory and CRM tools.

Boat Shows & Events

• Assist with planning and execution of boat shows, open houses, rendezvous, customer events, and manufacturer events.
• Coordinate signage, displays, promotional materials, apparel, customer invitations, and other event needs.
• Help manage pre-event communication and post-event follow-up.
• Attend key events and boat shows as needed.
• Ensure OHM displays and events consistently represent the premium brands we sell.

Brand & Manufacturer Coordination

• Work with OHM's manufacturer partners to coordinate available marketing programs, assets, promotions, and co-op opportunities.
• Maintain current brand assets, photography, logos, specifications, and marketing materials.
• Ensure manufacturer brand standards are followed.
• Help maximize available manufacturer marketing support and co-op funding.

General Marketing Support

• Maintain an organized marketing calendar covering events, advertising, campaigns, product launches, and important deadlines.
• Coordinate printed materials, signage, apparel, promotional items, and other marketing assets.
• Support marketing needs across OHM locations throughout New England.
• Track marketing projects and follow through to ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist management with special projects and new-location marketing initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of marketing, communications, event, or related experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience with social media platforms, email marketing, website content, and digital marketing tools.
• Photography, video, and basic graphic-design skills are a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new technology platforms.
• Experience in the marine, automotive, luxury, hospitality, or recreational industries is a plus but not required.
• Ability to occasionally travel between OHM locations and attend boat shows or events outside normal business hours.
