Marketing Campaign Manager

As the Marketing Campaign Manager, you will work closely with the Studio Integrated Creative Lead within the analogue and digital marketing team. You will be responsible for executing integrated marketing campaigns to support the studio team across marketing, commercial and digital departments.

Your day to day will involve co-ordination with internal stakeholders across the broader business from inter-departmental marketing teams to category managers and merchandising to execute 360’ integration marketing campaigns across all channels aimed at building the biggest and best Marketing Studio in Pick n Pay.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

A degree or diploma in marketing

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

At least two years of relevant digital marketing campaign management experience

Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Excel.

Must understand integrated Marketing.

Strong project management skills.

Previous experience in marketing.

Experience with CRM tools, Google Analytics, RMS+ or any other project management tool is a strong plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Campaign Management and Execution:

Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and content for all elements and media.

Assist in managing current and new marketing programs, with emphasis on testing to optimize the effectiveness of campaigns.

Manage the day to day scheduled updates from the business and brief this into the work process ad flow.

Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders (category managers, merchandisers, and cross-department teams) to implement marketing campaigns and manage the process and output of the campaigns.

Brief in and co-ordinate marketing campaigns for all integrated briefs.

Be involved in quality checking work, copy proofing and price checking.

Prompt category managers for briefs and stock check, prompt merchandising for link checks and creation.

Assist in the maintenance of the daily trade activity plan.

Review, analyse, and compile post-performance reports for campaigns.

Marketing Strategy Implementation:

Be an active team member in the Integrated studio team and Commercial teams to develop marketing and brand strategies to support business objectives from customer acquisition to retention.

Knowledge and ability to apply marketing strategies to marketing tactics

Assist in researching, recommending, and developing innovative marketing ideas

Assist in developing the marketing activity plan for the studio.

Be involved in the creative production process, from developing briefs to moving marketing campaigns through from copy, design, build, testing, and the Quality Control process.
