Job Summary
The Technical Project Management Lead will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of a portfolio of products and systems, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative, high-quality, and cost-effective solutions. The role combines technical leadership, system ownership, people management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful product development and delivery.
What You’ll be doing
- Own the system architecture and drive system design decisions, translating customer and business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective solutions
- Lead technical analysis, design reviews, problem-solving activities, and implementation of corrective actions based on validation and test results
- Provide technical direction and guidance throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, product roadmaps, and engineering standards
- Support project teams in the development, integration, testing, and release of hardware, software, and system solutions while monitoring technical risks and project progress
- Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Develop and manage departmental plans, resources, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within cost targets
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Program Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Suppliers, and Global Engineering teams to ensure successful product delivery and alignment of technical solutions
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and engineering best practices, driving improvements to products, processes, tools, and development methodologies.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering and product development, with the ability to work across software, hardware, and mechanical domains. Experience with ADAS, computer vision, optics, or machine learning is an advantage.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex products throughout the full development lifecycle.
- Experience in automotive development environments, including familiarity with ASPICE, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), SOTIF (ISO 21448), and Automotive Core Tools (IATF 16949, APQP, DFMEA).
- Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset, including experience with structured methodologies such as 8D; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus.
- Knowledge of embedded systems, real-time operating systems, Linux, and/or Windows environments, with the ability to guide technical teams in system-level development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills, with fluent written and spoken English and experience working in global, cross-functional organizations.
