Job Description

As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach that reflects Allied Universal’s values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at an industrial distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements, documenting observations and communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
