What you bring

• Relevant technical or aviation qualification, with a background in aircraft maintenance preferred
• Proven experience in aircraft maintenance and the management of complex projects
• Demonstrated leadership experience with responsibility for teams and project delivery
• Strong understanding of maintenance organization processes in an EASA Part-145 environment
• Sound knowledge of project planning, manpower and resource coordination, cost control and management reporting
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills in an international customer environment
• Very good command of written and spoken English; German is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management systems such as WINGS
• Structured decision-making, resilience and a solution-oriented leadership approach
• Class B driving licence
• Eligibility to work in Germany
• Ability to meet the requirements of a background check in accordance with the German Aviation Security Act

These are your tasks

• Lead, manage and develop the Project Managers and Project Leaders, allocate projects and ensure an effective distribution of workload
• Oversee aircraft maintenance projects from preparation and contract handover through aircraft redelivery, with responsibility for schedules, budgets and customer expectations
• Maintain full visibility of ongoing hangar projects, consolidate daily status reporting and proactively escalate critical risks, delays and major findings
• Ensure robust project planning across manpower, tooling, materials and logistics in close cooperation with Production, Planning, Engineering and support departments
• Act as the senior escalation point for project and customer matters and promote clear, proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute operational expertise to bids, tenders and contract reviews, including feasibility, timelines, risks and cost estimates
• Monitor project budgets, cost performance and resource utilization and support commercial follow-up and final billing where required
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards and internal procedures while driving productivity, profitability and continuous improvement
