Overview

Job Summary:

The HR Business Partner is responsible for delivering strategic and proactive Human Resources support aligned with the hospital’s immediate and long-term business objectives. This role serves as a hands-on partner and trusted advisor, developing a deep understanding of operational goals, and workforce challenges across assigned departments.

The HR Business Partner collaborates closely with leaders and employees to design and implement people strategies that support organizational success, employee engagement, and a positive workplace culture. Key areas of focus include employee relations, performance management, leadership coaching and development, and employee recognition programs.

This position plays a critical role in driving workforce initiatives, fostering strong partnerships, and ensuring HR programs and practices are aligned with the organization's mission, values, and strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships and partner effectively with employees, leaders, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, leveraging exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Partner closely with Employee Health and other stakeholders to manage and resolve complex Workers' Compensation cases, ensuring compliance while supporting positive employee outcomes.
• Lead the administration and resolution of complex leave-of-absence and workplace accommodation requests, balancing compliance requirements with employee and organizational needs.
• Lead and manage large-scale HR projects and initiatives that impact multiple departments and business units, driving enterprise-wide results and operational excellence.
• Provide expert guidance and coaching to leaders on performance management, employee development, conflict resolution, and best HR practices.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement people strategies that support business objectives, employee engagement, and organizational success.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degrees/Experience: Bachelor's Degree with <2 years relevant HR experience OR GES/HS Diploma AND 3 years of relevant HR experience
• Experience:  <2 years
• Supervisor Experience: Non-Required
• Licenses & Certifications:  Non-Required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degrees:  Master’s
• Experience:  2-5 years
• Licenses & Certifications:  PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP
