Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Incident Intake in Athens, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, manage access control processes, and support response to incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service while maintaining clear communication with personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document calls for service, prioritize requests, and coordinate the response of on-site security-related personnel to routine incidents and critical situations.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, shift activity reports, and communications documentation in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around manufacturing operations, shipping and receiving areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
