As a Security Officer Commercial Distribution in Indiantown, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, screening authorized visitors, and maintaining accurate visitor and contractor records.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and access-related events in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed role.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
