Job Description

As a Security Officer Commercial Distribution in Indiantown, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting security-related operations through teamwork and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, screening authorized visitors, and maintaining accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-related events in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
