Job Description

As a Security Officer Commercial Office Campus Access Control in Orange, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activities using computer or tablet tools. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office buildings, lobbies, parking areas, garages, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with authorized entry and directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs with clear, accurate information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
