What would your role be?
- Own and deliver a business case, with clear responsibility for achieving agreed net new money and client acquisition targets across the Northeast
- Attract, win and onboard new HNW/UHNW clients, leveraging your existing relationships, professional network and market presence to generate and convert new opportunities.
- Manage and grow a significant portfolio of clients, acting as the senior relationship lead and trusted point of reference for their complex wealth management needs
- Leverage a strong prospect network to convert prospects into long-term client relationships
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to clients and prospects, providing holistic wealth management solutions across investments, fiduciary services, credit and banking
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ personal, family and business objectives and proactively identify opportunities to address their evolving wealth management needs
- Coordinate Vontobel’s investment, lending, estate planning and other specialists to deliver integrated and differentiated solutions and maximize client value
- Build strong relationships with external influencers and internal referral partners, expanding your network and creating a sustainable pipeline of new business
- Maintain the highest standards of Risk & Compliance, ensuring all client relationships and business activities are conducted in line with regulatory and fiduciary requirements
What are we looking for?
- Extensive experience in private banking, wealth management or a comparable client-facing financial services environment, with a proven track record of attracting, winning and retaining HNW/UHNW clients
- A demonstrated ability to generate net new money, with a successful track record of building a business through client acquisition and relationship development
- Ideally, an established and transferable client book of HNW/UHNW relationships; alternatively, a strong network of qualified prospects and key connectors with demonstrable potential to convert them into clients
- A strong network across the Northeast US, with established relationships among HNW/UHNW individuals, families, business owners, entrepreneurs and/or relevant professional intermediaries
- Exceptional advisory and relationship-building skills, with the gravitas and credibility to advise sophisticated clients on complex wealth management matters
- An entrepreneurial, commercially driven and resilient mindset, with the ownership and determination to build and grow a business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent English is required, while Italian, Spanish, French or German would be an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across investment, lending, estate planning and other specialist teams to deliver for clients
- A hands-on, results-oriented approach, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in a senior-level, entrepreneurial environment
- High willingness to travel extensively across the Northeast to strengthen existing relationships, meet prospects and generate new business
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $230,000 - $280,000.
