About the role
The SAP SD/MM Consultant successfully contributes to the deliverables of the Order to Cash (OtC) team of Sanoma Learning. She/he plays an important role in improving business processes and IT services. The SAP ECC system of Sanoma Learning is used by five business units, located in Poland, Belgium, Finland, Netherlands and Sweden.
The SAP SD/MM Consultant will be part of an Agile/ Scrum OtC team. The team is part of an agile release train and works according the SAFE methodology.
Key tasks
- Work in an international environment with multiple business units
- Support of SAP system users (incidents, requests, problems)
- Day-to-day system monitoring and maintenance
- Be responsible for developments in the OtC area;
- Aim at delivering value for the business;
- Understand business requirements and provide the optimal solution;
- Aim at using standard SAP and reaching synergy in functionality for the business units;
- Give feedback on business requirements and advise on alternatives;
- Take care of customizing settings, make sure ABAP and integration consultants know what to do;
- Involve key-users in solutions being realized. Support end-to-end testing of the solution and training of key-users. This to ensure acceptance and adoption of the solution;
- Efficient documentation of functionality realized;
- Support the go-live of functionality and the handover to operations;
- Suggest opportunities for improvements.
About you
- SAP S4 Public cloud experience in - module SD and MM and preferably WM;
- Integrations from these areas to other SAP modules e.g. FI, CO and eventually BW;
- Integrations to applications outside SAP.
- Experience in at least one SAP S4 HANA implementation project
- Good knowledge of business processes in a logistics area
- Basic understanding of support processes and tooling (Atlassian Jira, Confluence).
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Highly developed communication skills
- Organizational and analytical skills
- Strong team player
- Agile Scrum and preferably SAFE will be an advantage
- Experience in working in an international and distributed team
