Company Description

Publicis Media harnesses the power of modern media through leading agency brands Dysrupt, Infinite Roar, Publicis Collective, Publicis Health Media, Spark Foundry, Starcom and Zenith, as well as global accelerator PMX; immersive experience group PMCI and access to integrated platform-based technologies and offerings from CJ, Epsilon and Influential.  A key business solution of Publicis Groupe, Publicis Media’s digital-first, data-driven global solutions deliver client value and drive growth in a platform-powered world. It is present in over 100 countries with over 23,000 employees worldwide.

Overview

Why Work with Us?

Performics is a central Publicis Connected Media capability that strategizes and provides digital activation services for global advertisers in over 57+ markets around the world with the aim of delivering the optimal outcome. Our Performance Centre of Excellence drives performance solutions across several channels including social, search, programmatic, commerce and affiliates. We have 30 different nationalities in our teams and work closely with teams from Google, Meta, TradeDesk and Amazon to deliver innovative solutions that help deliver business results to our clients.

The Role : To own the operating infrastructure of the global Performance team. The role is responsible for the operating model, ways of working, delivery standards, solution adoption and performance governance that allow our Centre of Excellence and the markets to work consistently and scale predictably. Working closely with the Global Chief Performance Officer, the role turns strategy into a clear operating plan and keeps the organization on track against it.

Scope & Mandate : Global remit across all performance channels — search, social, programmatic, commerce and affiliates, spanning the Centre of Excellence, regional hubs, market teams while working closely with Publicis Global Delivery (PGD). The focus is the operating infrastructure of the practice rather than day-to-day servicing: market and account teams remain responsible for delivery in-market, while this role is responsible for the standards, capacity and governance that support them.

Responsibilities

Operating Model & Global Governance:

  • Own the global operating model for the Performance practice: how the Centre of Excellence, regional hubs, market teams and PGD interlock, including decision rights, service boundaries and escalation paths
  • Turn the global Performance strategy into an annual operating plan with named owners, milestones, dependencies and budget, and track it through to completion
  • Define the governance framework for the practice: the forums that operate, the decisions each one owns, the inputs required, and how outcomes are recorded and followed through

Operational Excellence & Delivery Management:

  • Establish and drive best-in-class operational excellence within the Global Performance Team and its extended network
  • Implement and manage frameworks for tracking key deliverables, outputs, and team performance, ensuring accountability and accelerating progress
  • Lead deliverable tracking through regular cadences such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), global summits, and team connects
  • Define and enforce global delivery standards, SLAs, ways of working and quality assurance across all performance channels
  • Own process design and continuous improvement: cycle times, handoffs, automation, and the removal of duplicated effort between markets and hubs
  • Maintain the operational risk register for the practice, covering media governance, contractual and platform compliance, brand safety, data privacy and audit readiness.
  • Resolve delivery escalations at a process level, addressing the underlying cause rather than the individual instance

Workforce Planning and Capacity:

  • Partner with Talent, Resources and L&D on any talent support related to training, upskilling etc
  • Optimize the onshore, nearshore and offshore delivery mix: refining what work sits where, and to what standard using our solutions and tools
  • Set and monitor productivity, utilization and span-of-control standards across the global team with MRCL set of tools

Cross-Groupe Integration & Collaboration:

  • Deepen integration and foster robust collaboration across Publicis Groupe entities (e.g., Publicis Global Delivery (PGD), Global Media Platforms, Commercial, Finance, New Business, Resources, L&D)
  • Act as a central point of contact to align strategies, share resources, and identify mutual opportunities for success and efficiency with senior stakeholders across the Groupe
  • Own the operational interfaces with PGD and shared service functions: service definitions, capacity commitments, quality expectations and escalation routes

Solution Innovation & Adoption:

  • Champion the adoption, innovation, and impact of Performics’ proprietary performance solutions and tools (e.g., CapSure, Flow)
  • Oversee product operations and scaling strategies for key performance solutions, ensuring they meet market needs and deliver measurable value (e.g., Flow)
  • Collaborate with product and technology teams to drive the evolution of our performance offerings.
  • Own the operational scaling of proprietary solutions: rollout sequencing, enablement, support model, adoption tracking and lifecycle management
  • Manage vendor, licensing and tooling operations for the global performance stack, including contracting, cost control and rationalization
  • Run and/or support with the operational side of platform partnerships (Google, Meta, The Trade Desk, Amazon): joint business plan tracking, certification, co-investment governance and delivery against commitments

Business Intelligence & Performance Management:

  • Establish a single source of truth for the practice: KPI framework, data definitions, dashboards and reporting cadence
  • Produce the management reporting used by the Global Chief Performance Officer and the leadership team, including market, channel and portfolio scorecards
  • Track the operating plan so that progress, risk and resource pressure are visible early enough to act on
  • Own data hygiene, reporting automation and the reduction of manual reporting effort across markets

Capability, Enablement & Change Management:

  • Own the global enablement agenda with L&D: curriculum, certification, accreditation standards and onboarding into the practice
  • Lead change management for operating model shifts, including communications, adoption plans, training and reinforcement
  • Maintain the knowledge infrastructure of the practice: playbooks, process documentation and operating standards
  • Build internal visibility of the practice’s operating performance and standards across Publicis Groupe

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Delivery of the operating plan on time and on budget, with milestone-level accountability
  • Achievement of defined operational excellence metrics: delivery timeliness, quality scores, SLA and process adherence
  • Measurable improvements in integration and collaboration across Publicis Groupe, evidenced by joint initiatives, shared resources and demonstrable efficiency gains
  • Increased adoption and demonstrable operational impact of Performics’ proprietary performance solutions and the wider tooling stack
  • Governance effectiveness: cadence adherence, action closure rates and decision turnaround across QBRs, MBRs and leadership forums
  • Successful implementation of performance transformation programs for a portfolio of key clients, with documented improvements in their performance marketing maturity
  • Compliance and risk position: audit outcomes and adherence to contractual and platform commitments
  • Availability, accuracy and timeliness of the management reporting used by practice leadership

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in agency, media or marketing services, with substantial experience in operations, business management or a strategic operations capacity at global or multi-market scale
  • Proven track record of building and running an operating model end to end: governance, delivery standards, resourcing and process — for a large, distributed organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, capacity management and organizational design across onshore and offshore delivery models
  • Deep understanding of the performance marketing landscape, including paid search, social, programmatic, commerce, affiliates and analytics
  • Experience developing and scaling solutions, products or services, including enablement, adoption and support models
  • Strong experience in a large, matrixed organization, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across diverse teams and senior stakeholders
  • Track record of leading change and transformation programs, driving adoption without direct authority
  • Experience managing complex projects and programs with multiple dependencies and cross-functional owners
  • Strong data and reporting orientation, with experience building KPI frameworks and management reporting from the ground up
  • Familiarity with agency commercial models, finance, and resource management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
