About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Contracts Coordinator (18 months-Fixed Term) to join our dynamic and successful team.  As a valued member of the Commercial team and reporting directly to the Superintendent Contracts, you will be responsible for:

• Participate in development, management and reporting of the Site contracting plan and related annual activity.

• Coordinate the contract pre-tendering, tendering and post tender negotiation process through to contract award to demonstrate compliance with business principles.

• Provide and coordinate contract support to all site customers ensuring that all contract dealings are handled fairly and ethically in line with Glencore’s contract and project management procedures and principles.

• Assist Site Principal Representatives to establish and maintain a sustainable contract management/administration framework, including the monitoring of performance obligations (commercial and operational), and the assessment of contract risk profiles.

About you 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience in procurement and contract negotiations, it is desired to have the experience within the mining and resources sector but not vital

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in with business, commerce, legal or engineering sectors are highly desirable, as is CIPS recognition.

• Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values

• Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
