As a Senior Data Analyst on our Growth team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our marketing performance to new heights. You will collaborate closely with User Acquisition and Growth partners to analyze data, find opportunities, and deliver actionable insights. Your work will empower strategic business decisions and improve player experiences.
What You'll Do
- Partner closely with UA and Growth collaborators to understand performance, investigate business questions, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Lead analytical projects end-to-end, from problem definition and data exploration through to insights and collaborator communication.
- Own and evolve the business logic and analytical requirements of Growth data models, ensuring they accurately represent how the business measures performance.
- Act as a key collaborator with Data Engineering, translating business and analytical needs into clear data requirements and validating delivered solutions.
- Proactively identify and investigate data quality issues, inconsistencies, and gaps across Growth reporting and underlying data models.
- Build and maintain scalable reporting and analytical solutions, reducing repetitive manual analysis where possible.
- Define and maintain key Growth metrics and measurement logic across areas such as spend, acquisition, revenue, attribution, and marketing performance.
- Perform deep-dive analyses to understand performance drivers, find opportunities, and support investment decisions.
- Communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical collaborators, including senior leadership.
- Provide technical mentorship and share standard methodologies with other analysts while contributing to consistent analytical standards across the team.
- Work closely with Data Scientists on measurement, experimentation, and modeling projects by offering solid analytical and data foundations.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking an ambitious and seasoned Senior Data Analyst with a proven track record of delivering outstanding results. You should have:
- 4+ years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or a related role.
- Strong experience independently delivering analytical projects and working directly with business collaborators.
- Experience owning or contributing significantly to analytical data models, metric definitions, or reporting foundations.
- Advanced SQL skills and strong experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation and analytical workflows.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data quality, and analytical data structures.
- Experience converting business requirements into data requirements and collaborating closely with Data Engineering teams.
- Proficiency in a data visualization/BI tool such as Looker, Tableau, or similar.
- Good understanding of statistical analysis and experimentation.
- Familiarity with digital marketing data, attribution, and acquisition metrics is a strong plus.
- A strong ownership approach, comfortable independently driving work through to completion.
- A curious and analytical nature, always looking to investigate unexpected results and challenge assumptions.
- Realistic and dedicated to identifying ways forward.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for data accuracy and reliability.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast paced business environment.
- Strong collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, and business teams.
- Excellent communication skills, able to challenge constructively and build trust with technical and non-technical collaborators.
- Willingness to assist in the technical growth of other analysts and help maintain high analytical standards throughout the team.
