Description
Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, this individual will lead warehouse safety initiatives, process improvements, KPI tracking and reporting, and the implementation of the new WMS while partnering closely with warehouse leadership to support daily operations. The ideal candidate brings experience leading warehouse or distribution teams and is comfortable implementing new processes, improving the way work gets done, and helping teams adapt to change. As the company expands, this individual will also play a role in planning its future East Coast distribution center, offering the opportunity to contribute beyond the warehouse floor.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive warehouse safety program, including training, OSHA compliance, and certification initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on the implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of the company's new WMS.
- Champion LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen warehouse performance and operational consistency.
- Track, analyze, and report on operational KPIs to identify trends and drive data-informed improvements.
- Standardize warehouse processes and operational best practices across multiple warehouse locations.
- Partner with leadership on long-term planning for the company's future East Coast distribution center, including layout, operational planning, and launch preparation.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of warehouse or distribution operations experience, including experience leading teams or serving in a warehouse lead capacity.
- Experience supporting operations involving oversized products and customized palletizing is highly valued.
- Experience improving warehouse operations through safety initiatives, process optimization, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Able to convey OSHA regulations, warehouse safety programs, and compliance best practices.
- Experience working with WMS, inventory control, and warehouse reporting.
- Proficient in LEAN, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong aptitude with KPI tracking, data analysis, and reporting tools (MS Excel).
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish required.
- Willingness to work fully on-site in the Greater San Fernando Valley area on an early morning (6:30 AM) schedule.
Our client offers a base salary of $72K-$85K, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, and paid holidays.
