ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re on the search for a Business Partner to join our Finance team in Melbourne on a fixed term contract until January 2028. We’re looking for someone to partner with our senior leaders across the Cricket portfolio (National Teams, Performance Services and Community Cricket) to deliver forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis. The role will play a critical part in supporting Cricket Australia’s strategic and financial objectives and is a great opportunity for someone looking to work with a diverse portfolio.
If you consider yourself a driven finance professional with strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, we want to hear from you.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll be responsible for:
- Monthly reporting, performance insights and analysis to understand and improve performance.
- Forecasting and budgeting, including developing annual budgets and detailed schedules to support.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of an up-to-date Long Range Planning Model.
- Partnering with operational stakeholders to improve commercial outcomes and business guidance.
- Other ad-hoc financial duties required by the Head of Finance from time to time.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance
- Minimum 3 years of analytical and business partnering experience
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skillset and experience
- Strong commercial mindset and the ability to solve complex problems
- Well organised and the ability to achieve tight deadlines
- Ability to multitask and work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously
The following skills are not required, but will be highly regarded:
- Professional qualifications such as CAANZ or CPA
- Experience partnering with Technology teams
- Experience with TM1, Power BI and Cognos BI
