Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Bike Patrol Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine foot and bike patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building entrances, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, management, and Allied Universal leadership while following post orders and applicable security-related policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
