Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in West Point, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at an automotive location.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for individuals and vehicles entering or exiting designated areas; maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and access-control systems; report access irregularities, damaged equipment, and policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, parking areas, business facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
