About the role
As Production Manager, you will lead and coordinate production activities for BU Medical in Palm Coast, ensuring performance across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost. This is a senior on-site leadership role with a strong focus on developing leaders, operational excellence, and building structured ways of working across the production organization.
Lead a production organization of approximately 160 operators through a supervisory layer, develop leadership capability, and build high performing teams.
Plan, coordinate and oversee production activities, budgets, capacity forecasting, and key metrics
Cultivate an 'I Care' environment where safety, and employee well-being drive success.
Drive operational excellence by establishing robust organizational structures, standardizing processes, and steering cross-functional alignment to systematically optimize KPIs.
Serve as a key member of the Production Unit's management team, actively contributing to strategic development and target setting for the organization.
About you
You possess a strong background in manufacturing leadership, with a proven ability to coach supervisors and elevate team capabilities. You are skilled in daily operations—including scheduling, staffing, and workflow optimization—and seamlessly connect frontline execution to business goals, budgets, and KPIs. You are used to driving operational excellence by establishing the vision and framework for Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen, empowering teams to deliver structured, high-yield results.
To succeed in this role, you need to be a collaborative and structured leader who creates clarity, strengthens accountability, and works effectively across functions. You are confident driving change, addressing operational challenges, and supporting organizational development in a respectful and performance-focused way.
