  • Manage and analyze Salary Costing Allocations, expense transfers, salary transfers, and complex funding allocations; identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and compliance issues in collaboration with departmental and institutional partners.
  • Develop and maintain payroll analysis and tracking tools, conduct payroll audits, prepare salary projections, and implement improvements that increase the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processes.

Process Improvement & Financial Projects – 25%:

  • Analyze existing financial and administrative processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop sustainable procedures, protocols, tools, and training resources that improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Lead or support financial projects and initiatives, including departmental equipment inventory, graduate student tuition payments, contracts and agreements, and other operational activities.
  • Serve as a primary liaison with Integrated Resources Finance Operations and other University, School of Medicine, hospital, and funding-agency partners regarding financial processes, technical questions, and operational changes.
  • Develop and deliver financial systems, reporting, payroll, and departmental process training and resources for faculty and staff.
