Host/Hostess

This host will be the first person our customers see and deal with, which means the candidate will need to be well presented, with an impeccable personal appearance and a friendly and welcoming manner.The host needs to be able to work under pressure, whilst maintaining a controlled and professional exterior.You will need to have an organised and focused mind to be able to control the seating and organisation of the two venues. You should be a skilled communicator with excellent problem-solving, observation, and interpersonal skills.You will be dealing with many different nationalities, mainly English and Spanish, so good knowledge of both of these languages is essential within this role. Responsibilities Arranging seating plans for the restaurant and show venueWelcoming guests and seating guestsAbility to use restaurant and ticketing softwareMaintaining a high level of personal appearanceAnswering questions and giving productive and constructive answersEnsuring the guests are happy and receiving quality service Requirements Excellent problem-solving, and customer service skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts.Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Decisiveness.Approachability and punctuality High level of personal hygiene and appearanceWillingness to learn new software programsComputer literateEnglish Language essentialSpanish language essentialOther languages are a bonus   To get to know us search for our venues, House of IllusionChaplins Cabaret and Cocktail BarHoudini's Attic If you think you have what it takes then apply today! Do something different this year!
