Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive accounting tasks, including end to end processing and financial data reconciliation ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, adjustments, and other transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Maintain precise and organized financial records using accounting software (Quickbooks) for accessibility and accuracy.
- Assist with the tax compliance activities, including the preparation of tax returns, supporting schedules and communication with tax authorities
- Assist and participate in year-end financial audits by providing documentation, explanations and analysis to external auditors as required.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience with multinational corporations preferred.
- Legal and secretarial experience is preferred
- Have experience in inventory costing – seed accounting experience is desired but not mandatory.
- Have strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong team player and able to interact and collaborate with other functions.
- Have excellent communication skills, especially fluency in English.
- Proficient in various computer applications including complex excel formulas.
