Description
The Opportunity:
Leverage advanced sustainment expertise to ensure all logistics functions are fully integrated into the planning, coordination, and execution of collective training exercises. Support the client across the entire Exercise Lifecycle, shaping early operational concepts, aligning logistics requirements with exercise objectives, synchronizing sustainment activities during preparation and execution, and contributing to post‑exercise analysis to refine future support strategies. Apply continuous collaboration with exercise planners, operational staff, and external partners, and ensure that all logistical considerations are anticipated, resourced, and effectively employed to enable successful mission outcomes. Support the planning, preparation, and execution of operational sustainment for the client’s collective training exercises across the full Exercise Lifecycle. Develop and evaluate logistics‑focused Courses of Action (COAs), Concepts of Support, and associated strategic assessments. Coordinate, monitor, and assess logistics plan impacts, capability requirements, and mission support needs to ensure synchronized sustainment across the training platform. Deliver subject matter expertise, analytic input, and feedback for logistics plans, concepts, and strategy documents to support informed decision‑making. Participate in planning conferences, synchronization meetings, and required Exercise Lifecycle Events to integrate logistics considerations into all planning forums. Coordinate with DoD components, interagency partners, other services, and organizations to align and integrate logistics support across all mission areas.
You Have:
- 10+ years of experience in logistics, planning, and operations
- 3+ years of experience in a Staff Level division or Headquarters command
- Experience with developing logistics Courses of Action (COA) and Concepts of Support (COS)
- Knowledge of Army Plans and Operations
- Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods for logistics synchronization processes, procedures, logistics data accuracy, quality, logistics feasibility studies, issues, plans, policies, and guidance
- Knowledge of business management policies, business process analysis methodologies, and concepts, practices, and principles employed to fully analyze and develop recommendations for improvement
- Ability to help solve clients’ priority challenges, including being data-focused
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Graduate of the Support Operation Officer (SPO) Course
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with the US Army Reserve a plus
- Experience with using Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
