The Opportunity
At Hitachi Energy, we are shaping the future of sustainable energy through innovation, collaboration, and a global mindset. As part of our Global Real Estate team, we are looking for a PMO Business Analyst to support a worldwide portfolio of capital projects and construction initiatives.
In this role, you will help drive data-based decision-making across complex real estate programs by delivering meaningful insights, standardized reporting, and performance analysis. You will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple regions and functions, contributing to the successful delivery of projects that support our global growth strategy.

How you will make an impact
- Support the Global Real Estate PMO in monitoring and analyzing project and portfolio performance across multiple regions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models using tools such as Power BI and SharePoint.
- Establish and promote standardized reporting processes, KPI frameworks, and governance practices across the project portfolio.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform benchmarking activities across projects, regions, and investment programs to support best-practice sharing and continuous improvement.
- Partner with project managers, consultants, contractors, and business leaders to transform data into actionable insights.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting platforms and systems.
- Collaborate with IT and database teams to improve data architecture, integrations, and reporting capabilities.
- Support the implementation and optimization of PMO tools and systems, including SAP, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), SharePoint, and other project management platforms.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance transparency, efficiency, and project delivery performance.
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Professional certification such as PMP, PMI-PBA, ECBA, or CBAP is considered an advantage.
- Several years of experience in business analytics, PMO environments, portfolio management, or project controls within large and complex organizations.
- Experience supporting capital investment, construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working in international and multi-project environments.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis, data modeling, reporting, and performance measurement methodologies.
- Advanced experience with Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, and large database environments.
- Experience integrating data from multiple business systems and platforms.
- Understanding of project planning, financial performance metrics, and project governance principles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise way.
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
