OverviewEnterprise Security Services Corporation is hiring Unarmed Security Officers to support busy retail, hospitality, and commercial sites across the Virginia Beach area. As a women-owned, minority-owned company with more than three decades of experience, we bring professional, customer-focused security to high-traffic environments.Where you'll workThis position covers client locations in and around Virginia Beach, including stores, shopping centers, hotels, and similar venues. Worksites are assigned based on coverage needs and may change between assignments, so we look for officers who can reliably work at sites throughout the area.ResponsibilitiesDeliver a professional, welcoming presence while keeping the site safeMonitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for security and safety concernsAssist guests, shoppers, and staff with a strong customer-service approachDeter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access through active patrolRespond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies calmly and professionallyObserve surveillance systems and report unusual activityComplete accurate incident reports and shift logsRequirementsPossess or be able to obtain a Virginia DCJS unarmed security officer registrationMeet Virginia's minimum age and eligibility requirements for security registrationPass a criminal background checkReliable transportation to assigned sites across the Virginia Beach areaExcellent communication and a calm, professional manner with the publicComfortable standing and walking for extended periodsExperience in security, hospitality, or customer service is a plusBenefitsPick up additional hours at different client locations as they come upWeekly pay aligned with our company pay scheduleShift flexibility designed around your availabilityLong-term growth potential as the company takes on more workUniform & equipmentAbility to obtain a Class A black uniform; communication equipment may be provided.ScheduleShifts may include days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.How to applyApply now by clicking Apply.
