About Our Family
We're a busy, warm, and active household with three young children and two working parents balancing full schedules. One parent works from home regularly, so you'll often share the home during the day. Our house is filled with energy, laughter, and the beautiful chaos that comes with raising a young family. While life is full in the best way, we've reached the point where having the right person supporting our home would make an incredible difference.
We have a professional house cleaner who comes twice each month, but we're looking for someone who fills the gap between those visits—the person who notices the little things before they become big things. Someone who naturally resets the kitchen after breakfast, keeps laundry moving without being asked, ensures everyday household supplies stay stocked, and creates a sense of calm through thoughtful organization and consistency. We value someone who takes genuine pride in creating a home that feels welcoming, functional, and ready for whatever the day brings.
Our family is warm, respectful, and easy to work with. We believe in open communication, mutual appreciation, and creating a positive work environment where you feel like a valued member of the household. We are hoping to find someone who will become a trusted, long-term part of our family's routine.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You're the kind of person who naturally notices what needs to be done and enjoys taking initiative without waiting for direction. You find satisfaction in the small details that make a home run smoothly—a clean kitchen at the end of the day, neatly folded laundry, an organized pantry, fresh meals prepared ahead of a busy week, and knowing you've made life a little easier for the family you support. You're dependable, proactive, and highly organized, with excellent time management skills and a positive, can-do attitude. You communicate clearly, take ownership of your work, and are comfortable managing multiple priorities throughout the day. Rather than seeing a varied workload as overwhelming, you enjoy the rhythm of moving between different tasks and appreciate that no two days are exactly alike.
The heart of this role is maintaining the daily flow of the home. Your primary responsibilities will include completing daily household resets, cleaning up after meals, keeping laundry moving from start to finish, planning and preparing family meals, and maintaining an organized, functional living space. You'll be trusted to recognize priorities, anticipate needs, and create systems that help the household operate efficiently. While this position is primarily focused on household management, we would love to find someone who genuinely enjoys being around young children. There may be occasional opportunities to interact with the kids or lend a hand when appropriate, so a warm, family-oriented personality is important.
Above all, we're looking for someone seeking more than just a job. We hope to find a long-term partner in our home—someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys creating order from the everyday, and leaves each shift knowing they made a meaningful difference for our family.
