Staff Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

The staffing coordinator will organize and prepare work schedules for field staff to ensure the appropriate amount of staff is available for each work shift.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. One (1) years experience in positions of increasing responsibility in business, preferably in health care.

2. Minimum of one (1) years experience in supervisory or administrative positions.

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

4. Knowledge of the regulatory requirements at the state, federal and local level.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. The staffing coordinator will organize and prepare work schedules for field staff.

2. Ensure that an appropriate amount of staff is available for each work shift. 

3. Approving and scheduling time off for the field staff and ensuring vacant positions are filled to meet client requirements.

4. The Staffing coordinator creates and maintains daily staffing reports using systems or programs (Continulink, ISAS, & Google Doc Spreadsheets), including scheduling employees' work hours, time off request, as well as job vacancies. 

5. Report inconsistencies, job vacancies and scheduling concerns to management for immediate action.

6. Reporting responsibilities also include verifying employee work hours with the payroll department on a routine basis to ensure payroll is disbursed accurately.
