Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a highly skilled Senior Strategic Planning and Visual Communications Specialist to join our team! In this high-impact role, you will design and deliver visually based group processes, strategic planning activities, and consulting services that spark innovation, strengthen collaboration and communication, and support high-performing teams. You will also help senior leaders and mission partners gain decision advantage by translating complex information into clear, accessible, and actionable visual products for corporate applications and services.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Plan and facilitate meetings using graphic facilitation techniques to improve alignment, consensus, decision-making, and content retention.
• Observe, listen, and synthesize complex information into visually compelling combinations of words and images that create a common, memorable, and actionable record.
• Design and facilitate innovation-focused workshops that apply human-centered practices, generate new ideas, and strengthen product and mission value.
• Develop visual materials that systematically illustrate systems, processes, strategies, and other complex concepts, including storyboards, roadmaps, OV-1s, and action sketches.
• Enable participatory decision-making sessions that build shared understanding, clarify priorities, and align stakeholders around key ideas.
• Ensure consistent themes, messages, and talking points for NGA and IA senior leadership engagements with other NGA elements, the IC, and the broader Global GEOINT Enterprise.
• Compile executive-level summary notes, decisions, action items, and follow-up materials for IA planning events, such as IA Vertical Cut and IA Leaders Offsite.

 

Required Clearance:

• Must be a U.S Citizen
• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing and able to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph

 

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field and 8+ years of related experience.
• Previous experience serving in an administrative, staff officer, strategic planning, or comparable role.
• Previous experience facilitating strategic planning sessions and translating broad objectives into clear, actionable plans.
• Previous experience creating visual concepts, sketches, storyboards, or video concepts to illustrate complex systems, processes, or strategies.
• Previous experience planning and facilitating meetings that increase product value and support decisions by senior executives, flag officers, or other VIPs.
• Previous experience creating and implementing strategic communications plans that maximize employee adoption and usage while minimizing resistance to change.

 

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience applying human-centered design practices to create compelling visuals that communicate complex ideas and support decision-making.
• Experience identifying and developing real-time communications products and requirements for senior leaders, mission partners, and organizational stakeholders.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
