We are seeking experienced Scrub/Scout & Day Surgery Registered & Enrolled Nurses to join our close-knit and supportive perioperative team. We have a variety of shifts available to suit your lifestyle
Monday to Friday roster
Shift of 6, 8 or 10 hours AM with some lates finishing at 2030
The Position:
Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.
Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and preceptoring staff.
Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
You will hold current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Scrub Scout/Perioperative speciality and demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team and have a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. To be considered for this role you will need to have current Australian Work rights.

We can offer you
Registered Nurse Casual Hourly rate: $52.30 to $67.24 (inclusive of casual loading), plus 12% superannuation
Enrolled Nurse Casual Hourly rate: $47.40 to $50.56 (inclusive of casual loading), plus 12% superannuation
